Friction bolts have been used internationally in mining for decades and are considered the simplest form of ground support available in metal mining. Compression of the high tensile steel "C" shape into a hole diameter smaller than the tube generates a load transfer from the steel to the rock. A steel ring is fixed to the collar end of the tube that will retain a plate on the installed tube to establish compressive force against rock.

Available in either black or hot dip galvanised. Variety of diameters (34 mm, 40 mm and 47 mm) and various lengths from 600 mm to 3,000 mm

Used in the development and production headings for immediate support with quick and easy installation.

Cable Bolts incorporate much higher strength than traditional bolts with incomparable flexibility to adjust to the movement of the earth’s strata. We are an authorised distributor of Australian mining industry renowned Garford™ Cable Bolts. Garford products are manufactured to quality accredited standards ISO:9001 at facilities in WA, NSW and QLD.

Options of each plate type are available in numerous dimensions to suit any bolt type and diameter in the Minova range. Plates are available with or without a hanger loop in black steel or hot dip galvanised. 

Further developing our plate range, our 200 mm Crown plate is a cost-effective alternative to Combi plates, reducing the number of plates required and providing improved strata support.

Mesh provides surface support coverage to loose rock between installed rock bolts in underground mining excavations. Multiple configurations of mesh is available including numerous sheet sizes, apertures, wire diameters and black or galvanised wire.

Ausro straps are yielding straps which allow the straps to yield under load conditions allowing better load distribution between bolts. Ausro straps are used in unstable ground conditions where seismic activity is present, to improve surface support and ensure better connection between the surface support and bolts.

Glassfibre resin polymer (GFRP) mesh provides surface support coverage to loose rocks between installed bolts. Suitable for temporary and permanent solutions. Low-weight, ideal for decreasing risks associated with manual handling.

This mesh complies with standard grid applications while providing the added benefits of durability and cuttability. The high load capacity at each joint, comparable to welded steel mesh, is unique and makes the design of GFRP grid reinforced RC structures a viable option. Available in a range of sizes to suit individual application.

Glassfibre resin polymer (GFRP) bolting system is a comprehensive rock bolting system with various components that include a plastic nut, GFRP nut, steel nut, plastic plate, GFRP plate, couplings, adapter and injection connection. Available as solid and hollow bolts

The bolt has a high ultimate load and due to its profile, offers a maximum bond strength with all grouting materials. The bolt has a continuous thread and can be trimmed if required.

Solid bolts can be installed with cement grout or Lokset® resin capsules, while the installation of the hollow rods can be carried out with cement grouts or injection resins.

Continuously threaded, high strength rock bolting solution. Developed for strata support in mining and tunnelling, it has proven to be a versatile product for many applications. The GFRP system allows the bolts to be cut to length as required on location, as well as protecting equipment and machinery of they are required to be mined through. Due to it's high corrosion resistance, it is perfectly suited for long term and temporary ground support.
